Al-Masjid al-Haram (Mecca, Saudi Arabia)
In this holy month of Ramadan, we pay homage to some of the most spectacular mosques in the world. As we marvel at the great Islamic architecture and heritage that goes into every construction of these sacred sanctuaries, we discover that each has its own unique story to tell.
Al-Masjid al-Haram located in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, is the holiest mosque in the world and the primary destination for the Haj pilgrimage - and is the only mosque that has no Qibla direction, as Muslims pray facing the Kaaba in the central courtyard

Floating Mosque. Malaysia has one too, BEAUTIFUL ! It is in Penang Island , on the way to Batu Feringghi Beach. Hope the committee provide boat service for sight-seeing , this would generate funds for the Mosque. I certainly won't mind paying rm 10 for a short boat ride. The view from the sea is fabulous. Am not a Muslim, however I dutifully and fondly give due regards to my Muslim relatives and friends.
Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Maaf Zahir Batin to all Muslims.
