If you want to sample life at a foreign university, look into study abroad programmes. If you're a student in the E.U. you might be able to take advantage of the popular ERASMUS programme, which allows you to spend a year of your degree studying abroad. Another option is to enroll in a university which is part of the Universitas 21 scheme. This offers students from twenty-one universities from four continents the chance to take part in exchanges with other member institutions across the world.
