Film: Thunderball

Thunderball is famous for its dramatic underwater scenes, including a massive scuba-diving battle, but Bond fans are just as likely to remember Sean Connery shooting henchman Vargas with a spear gun and quipping: “I think he got the point.”

That scene was filmed on the still-delightful Love Beach on New Providence Island in the Bahamas – which has seen more 007 action than any other country apart from the UK.
