One of the most colourful cities in the world, shaped by its multi-racial population.
New World Park

This newly refurbished food arcade proved a boon for everyone. While the hawkers in the area before were operating with rickety furniture and minimal seating, New World Park now is a sprawling complex filled with modern tables and stools, more than adequate ventilation and the wafting aromas of delicious dishes being made to order.
Take a chance on anything, from the Penang-styled chee cheong fun to the mouth-watering rojak, before moving on to the prawn mee (called Hokkien mee in these parts), fried oyster and char koay teow. Desserts abound and really, for the extremely reasonable prices and quality, a visitor here could hardly ask for more.
