The Water Castle -“Taman Sari”

Built by the first King of Jogjakarta in 1758, this gorgeous monument is a part of the Kraton district. Once upon a playground for the Sultan, enter this maze-like structure through the 'Gapuro Agung' (West entrance) or 'Gapuro Panggung' (East entrance), then make your way through water castle, an underground mosque and finally, the 'Kenanga' island fort.
