Asakusa Samba Carnival summer festival, Tokyo
Drawing about half a million visitors each year, the Asakusa Samba Carnival is easily one of Tokyo's most awaited and celebrated events. It sees the collaboration of carnival performers from both Brazil and Tokyo in an amazing cross-cultural explosion of costume, dance, and noise.
